Camp Amenities

Guests at Highwind Lake Camp will find the camp amenities that have an atmosphere that is inviting, relaxing, and communal. Central to the main camp is a large field with a playground (coming spring 2022) and a picnic shelter. These are free to use for your day activities, relaxing, or playing some fun family field games! If you are in a competitive spirit try your hand at some Corn hole (bean bag toss) or horse shoes. Claim your place as camp champ and start a tournament!

After a long day in the sun fishing, relaxing at the beach, or hiking perhaps you wish to wash off and refresh with a warm shower. Our bathroom/shower facility (cleaned daily) provides bathrooms and four private access shower stalls. Tiled wall to wall the showers are sure to leave you relaxed.

For those who spent the day fishing and were surely successful we have a fish cleaning shed for your convenience. The shed includes a stainless steel counter with built in drain, cutting boards, water to rinse your cleaned fish, and garbage for ease of disposal. We are in bear country so we ask guests to utilize this facility when cleaning fish so as to limit the chance of bears on site. Though some may be here to hunt, no one wants one on site!

In the evening enjoy a nice relaxing campfire. We sell wood bundles of dry seasoned Birch and Pine wood excellent for camp fires. We encourage guests traveling to Highwind Lake Camp not to bring firewood as they may be bringing unwanted guests with them, invasive non-native forest insects and diseases!
